Referral Program Terms
Referral links, invited users, referral rewards, exclusions, and abuse rules.
Last updated: June 2, 2026 | Applies to: https://bumili.net
Purpose of These Terms
These Referral Program Terms explain how the Bumili referral program works, how referral links and codes are used, who may qualify as a referred user, how referral rewards may be calculated, and what activity is prohibited.
These Terms form part of our Terms of Service. By using referral links, referral codes, referral rewards or related features, you agree to these Terms.
What the Referral Program Is
The Bumili referral program allows eligible users to invite other people to use Bumili. When an invited user signs up and completes qualifying activity, the inviting user may receive referral rewards according to the program rules.
Referral rewards are connected to eligible activity on the Service, such as approved cashback activity of invited users. Referral rewards are not guaranteed until all applicable conditions are met and the reward is approved.
Referral Links and Referral Codes
Bumili may provide users with a unique referral link, referral code or other invitation method. This link or code is used to identify the user who invited a new user to the Service.
You may share your referral link or code with friends, family, followers or other people, provided that you do so lawfully, honestly and without spam, misleading claims or abuse.
You are responsible for how you promote your referral link or code. You must not present yourself as Bumili, as a merchant, or as an official representative unless we have expressly authorized you to do so.
Who Counts as a Referred User
A referred user is a new user who joins Bumili through your referral link, referral code or another referral flow supported by the Service, and whose referral attribution is successfully recorded by our system.
To qualify as a referred user, the invited user must usually:
- be new to Bumili;
- create an account using a valid referral link, referral code or supported referral flow;
- meet the account eligibility requirements in our Terms of Service;
- not be a duplicate, fake, self-referral or abusive account;
- complete any qualifying activity required by the referral program.
Referral attribution may not be created if the invited user signs up without using your referral link or code, uses another user's referral link or code, has already registered, or if tracking fails due to technical or browser-related reasons.
Referral Attribution
Referral attribution is the connection between the inviting user and the invited user. Once referral attribution is recorded, it may be used to calculate referral rewards where applicable.
Referral attribution is generally assigned based on the referral link, referral code, registration flow, tracking data or other technical records available to Bumili at the time of registration or referral application.
Referral attribution may not be changed manually unless Bumili decides, at its discretion, that there is clear evidence of a technical error or exceptional situation.
If more than one referral link, code or marketing source is involved, Bumili may decide which attribution record applies based on system data, program rules, fraud prevention and partner restrictions.
How Referral Rewards Are Earned
Referral rewards may be earned when a referred user completes qualifying activity, such as generating approved cashback through the Service.
Referral rewards may be calculated as a percentage of the referred user's approved cashback, a percentage of Bumili's received commission, a fixed reward amount, a tier-based reward, or another method described in the Service or program rules.
Referral rewards are usually created only after the referred user's cashback or other qualifying activity is recorded. A referral reward may remain pending until the related cashback or qualifying activity is approved.
Rewards from Invited Users' Cashback
Where the program provides rewards from invited users' cashback activity, the inviting user may receive a referral reward based on eligible cashback earned by the referred user.
For example, if a referred user earns eligible cashback from a merchant purchase and that cashback is later approved, Bumili may calculate a referral reward for the inviting user according to the active referral reward rate or program rules.
The referred user's own cashback is separate from the inviting user's referral reward. The referred user does not lose their cashback because a referral reward is calculated for the inviting user, unless the Service clearly states otherwise.
If the referred user's cashback is rejected, cancelled, reversed, refunded, adjusted or found to be ineligible, the connected referral reward may also be rejected, cancelled, reversed or adjusted.
Referral Reward Statuses
Referral rewards may have different statuses, including:
- Pending: the reward has been recorded but is waiting for approval of the related qualifying activity.
- Approved: the reward has been confirmed as eligible and may be added to the available balance.
- Rejected: the reward is not eligible, for example because the related cashback was rejected or the referral was invalid.
- Cancelled: the reward was cancelled due to reversal, refund, duplicate activity, fraud checks or other ineligible activity.
- Paid: the reward was included in a completed payout or otherwise marked as paid.
Status names may vary slightly inside the Service depending on feature development, but the general meaning remains the same.
When Referral Rewards Become Available
Referral rewards do not become available immediately after a user signs up. Rewards may depend on the referred user's approved cashback, merchant confirmation, affiliate network confirmation, fraud checks, return periods, payout rules and other eligibility conditions.
Pending referral rewards cannot be withdrawn. Only approved and available rewards may be included in payout requests where payout functionality is available.
Prohibited Referral Activity
You must not use the referral program in a fraudulent, misleading, abusive, automated or unlawful way. Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:
- creating self-referrals;
- creating fake, duplicate or controlled accounts;
- inviting yourself through another email address, device, phone number or identity;
- using bots, scripts, automation, fake traffic or paid sign-up farms;
- spamming referral links through email, SMS, comments, forums, social media or messaging platforms;
- making misleading claims about Bumili, cashback rates, guaranteed earnings or payout availability;
- pretending to represent Bumili, a merchant or an affiliate partner without permission;
- offering unauthorized incentives, fake discounts or false promises to make people sign up;
- manipulating tracking, attribution, cashback approval or payout systems;
- using referral links in illegal, harmful, deceptive or inappropriate content;
- violating merchant rules, affiliate network rules, platform rules or applicable law.
Self-Referrals and Duplicate Accounts
Self-referrals are prohibited. You may not create another account, ask someone to create an account for your own benefit, use another identity, or otherwise attempt to earn referral rewards from your own activity.
Duplicate accounts, fake accounts, controlled accounts, automated accounts and accounts created mainly to generate referral rewards may be rejected, restricted or closed.
If we detect self-referral or duplicate account activity, we may reject or reverse referral rewards, cancel cashback, suspend payout requests, restrict accounts or close accounts.
Spam and Promotion Rules
You may share your referral link or code only in a lawful and respectful way. You must not send unsolicited commercial messages, mass messages, spam, misleading advertisements or referral promotions that violate platform rules or applicable law.
If you promote Bumili publicly, your statements must be accurate and not misleading. You must not claim that cashback, referral rewards or payouts are guaranteed unless this is expressly confirmed by Bumili in writing.
Reversals, Adjustments and Corrections
We may reject, cancel, adjust or reverse referral rewards if:
- the referred user is not eligible;
- the referral attribution is invalid or abusive;
- the related cashback is rejected, cancelled, refunded, reversed or adjusted;
- the merchant or affiliate network reverses the commission;
- the reward was created by mistake, duplicate processing or incorrect data;
- we detect fraud, abuse, self-referral, fake accounts or suspicious activity;
- the activity violates these Terms, our Terms of Service, Cashback Policy or Anti-Fraud Policy.
If a referral reward was already paid and is later found to be invalid, we may deduct the amount from future balances where permitted by law and applicable rules.
Referral Program Changes
We may change referral reward rates, qualifying conditions, eligibility rules, payout rules, attribution rules, program availability, supported countries, supported users or other referral program rules at any time.
We may suspend or end the referral program at any time. If we do so, existing pending or approved rewards may be handled according to the program rules, fraud checks and applicable law.
No Guarantee of Earnings
Referral rewards are not guaranteed. The amount you may earn depends on referred user activity, approved cashback, merchant confirmation, affiliate network confirmation, program rules, fraud checks and other eligibility conditions.
We do not guarantee that a referral link will always track correctly, that a referred user will make eligible purchases, or that any specific reward amount will be earned.
Taxes
You are responsible for understanding and handling any taxes, declarations or reporting obligations that may apply to referral rewards or payouts in your country of residence or tax jurisdiction.
Bumili does not provide tax, financial or legal advice.
Account Review and Enforcement
We may review referral activity, referred accounts, cashback activity, wallet activity and payout requests to detect abuse, fraud, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, spam or other violations.
If we reasonably believe that referral activity violates these Terms or harms Bumili, users, merchants or partners, we may reject rewards, reverse rewards, suspend payouts, restrict accounts, close accounts or take other appropriate action.
Relationship to Other Policies
Referral rewards may depend on cashback approval and are connected to our Cashback Policy, Terms of Service, Payout Terms, Privacy Policy and Anti-Fraud Policy. If a referred user's cashback is not eligible, the related referral reward may also be ineligible.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Referral Program Terms from time to time, including when we change referral features, reward rates, fraud controls, payout rules, legal requirements or business rules.
The updated version will be posted on the Service with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of referral features after the updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
